We want to thank our ASB and PTC for sponsoring the Nick Scott Assembly for our students in grades 1-8.  Some valuable quotes and takeaways from Mr. Scott’s message include, “I came here today to tell you to believe in yourself because life is a gift.” “True value is on the inside.” “The only time you should look down on someone is to help them up.” The students were highly engaged and encouraged by his many messages!

URGENT Traffic Reminder - As a reminder, we respectfully request that you follow the school’s Drop-Off & Pick-Up Process to ensure a continuous flow of traffic. We have been notified by the CHP (letter HERE) that they will begin to issue citations to drivers who are impeding the flow of traffic, per section 22400(a) CVC. The CHP understands that during pick-up, traffic will back up however, they will begin to strictly enforce pre-staging before dismissal. Arriving AT or AFTER 1:35 on Mondays and 2:35 Tuesday through Friday will greatly improve the flow of traffic and eliminate any pre-staging concerns. Please follow our school’s process and the CHP’s request. Thank you for your cooperation.

National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs - How you can help!
Parents, if your household income falls within the guidelines found hereplease take a moment to fill out the online "Meal Application" form in LINQ! If your student(s) qualify, they will have access to additional resources, and the school district receives approximately $800 more in funding for qualifying students.  When you log into LINQ, you will see a button on the home screen that says "Meal Applications."  The application is brief and confidential.  We appreciate you taking the time to fill out this important form.  (Reminder- Meals are free for all students this year!)

Community Partners:

Placer Foothills Mountain Bike Team (PFMBTC) - Our volunteer-run organization currently serves nearly 100 student athletes in middle schools (Grades 6-8) and high schools across the Placer Foothills in Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis, Auburn, and Colfax. We are affiliated with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) and compete in interscholastic cross-country mountain bike races across Northern California in the NorCal League. We’re excited about the growth of youth mountain biking in the region and would love to see even more kids on bikes. We’re a no-cut sport where everyone participates (no one ever sits on the bench), and we offer financial support to cover expenses for families in need.  If you’d like to learn more about what we do, check out our website and contact our club President, Nate Whitson, at president@placerfoothillsmtb.com
