Dear Newcastle Elementary School District Families, Students, Staff, and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
It is both a privilege and an honor to serve the Newcastle Elementary School District. As we begin another year together, I am reminded that what makes Newcastle truly special is not simply our beautiful campus or long history – it is our people. Every day, our students, staff, families, and community come together with a shared commitment to helping every child learn, grow, and succeed.
At Newcastle, we believe every student deserves to be known, valued, challenged, and supported. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students with the academic, social, and character skills needed for success in high school and beyond. We strive to provide an environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, develop meaningful relationships, and discover their unique strengths.
This year, we will continue investing in the future of our students through high-quality instruction, expanded learning opportunities, innovative classroom technology, and a continued focus on student well-being. As we embrace new tools and instructional practices, we remain grounded in what has always made Newcastle exceptional—strong relationships, high expectations, and a caring school community.
This year also marks an exciting new chapter for Newcastle Elementary School as we welcome Principal Danielle Fee to our school community. Mrs. Fee brings a passion for student success, strong instructional leadership, and a genuine commitment to building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families. I know you will join me in giving her a warm Newcastle welcome as she begins her first year leading our outstanding school. I look forward to partnering with her as we continue to build upon the traditions of excellence that have defined Newcastle for generations.
Education is most successful when schools and families work together. Your partnership is essential, and I encourage you to stay actively involved throughout the year. Whether through ParentSquare, volunteering in classrooms, attending school events, or simply staying connected with your child's teacher, your involvement makes a meaningful difference in the success of our students.
Our district office has a simple belief that guides our work every day: We're here to make good things happen for other people. That philosophy shapes the way we serve our students, support one another, and build a positive school culture where kindness, responsibility, and respect are valued alongside academic achievement.
Thank you for the trust you place in us each day. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve your family and look forward to another outstanding year of learning, growth, and celebration.
Together, we'll make it a great year.
Warm regards,
Sean Healy
Superintendent, Newcastle Elementary School District
